I think his quote is similar to Mr. Monson's because we have freedom when we have obedience. Obedient is short for obey And we have to obey the rules, we have to obey our parents too. We get freedom of doing whatever we want or need to do like play video games or watch t.v. If we aren't obedient we wont have the freedom to do what we want to do. That is why we have to have Obedience.
