Duties and Responsibilities: An Ambulance Dispatcher is a
professional telecommunicator, tasked with the gathering of information related
to medical emergencies, the provision of assistance and instructions by voice,
prior to the arrival of Emergency Medical Services, and the dispatching and
support of EMS resources responding to an emergency call. They are also called
9-1-1 operator or public safety telecommunicator. They answer emergency and
non-emergency calls.
Annual Salary: $36,300 - $37,040
Education: An Ambulance Dispatcher has to at least have a high school education and get a high school diploma.

I would like
to be an Ambulance Dispatcher because I would answer calls from people who need
help which would be an important job because I would have to let the ambulance
people know the address to help the person or people in need.
